Late fall at Lake Wenatchee, by Travis Knoop.

Fall brings with it a sense of change, ushering in a season of shorter days, dips in temperature and leaves turning bold colors.

Flip flops and shorts are reluctantly traded for boots and fleece while summertime toys are exchanged with winter counterparts in anticipation of the first snow.

Visiting Lake Wenatchee on this moody and misty morning had me reflecting on the sunny days filled with laughter and excitement that fill the State Park all summer long, now transformed into a quiet and peaceful scene.
